May 1, 2012 in Festivals, News You Can Use
Lollapalooza, the festival that started it all for the modern-day festivals, will be on August 3rd-5th. This Lolla will be the 21st edition of the legendary festival. The line-up was announced a few weeks ago and most of the tickets have sold out, but the website still indicates that single day tickets are available. The headliners include funkadelic rock veterans – The Red Hot Chili Peppers, blues-rockers – The Black Keys, everyone’s favorite blues-rocker-finally-gone-solo – Jack White, classic hard rock legends -Black Sabbath, reformed post-hardcore – At The Drive-In, and UK’s Queen of the art-pop scene – Florence + the Machine.
The festival grounds have recently been renovated to ease the foot traffic flowing from stage to stage and to allow a larger Dance Music stage, an extended area for the local food options (Chow Town), and alternative areas such as the Biergarten and Farmers Market. Scroll down to check out the announcement video and the official poster below the video. Get your tickets here, before they sell out.
